Hi Eileen,

Your husband is lucky to have you. As you know so many spouses are threatened by this, and it potentially leads to harmful results. It's always so nice to hear of the relationships whereas things are discussed and worked out.

Regarding the "secrets"; I was recently given some simple advice on this from an individual with much experience; "is it really any of their business". In other words, we don't share everything about our lives with everyone. To me that almost sounds to simplistic to make sense, but after pondering it I see how logical it really is. :)

Dear Robyn,

My husband may be lucky to have me, I'm lucky to have him as well!
Spouses may feel threatened by an another woman in the house. He becomes my girl friend.

Without secrets, there would be no gossip, how boring!
