Hello All!
I am Noelle (SO). My Husband and I have been together for nearly 7 years, married nearly a year, and I have known about his cross dressing for a little over 2 years. Pure fear kept him closeted for the first 5 years of our relationship. I guess it took that long for denying himself dressing made him completely miserable. Our relationship was deteriorating rapidly. I can't remember what finally got us talking again - the turning point where I was able to prove to him that he could trust me with his secret and his heart but we have never looked back.
It has been fun watching and helping Ashley grow and develop. It has really stepped up over this past year. It used to be skirts, hosiery, and shoes. Now we are getting full outfits together including wigs, make up, and his first breast forms arrived today. I don't know if it was the marriage that caused him to fully accept himself or the house burning down a week later making him realize that hating himself wasn't the way to go but whatever it was, I am glad for it (not the fire itself, that sucked but...) We rang in the new year as newlyweds, in a new house, new stuff, and a new sense of self for both of us and we have never been closer. In any case it has been a WILD ride!
I am sorry this introduction is a bit confused and rambly. It is way past my bedtime! I did want to drop in and introduce myself tonight and I look forward to learning from all of you and I hope I have something to offer as well!

Re: Hello All!
Welcome, Noelle. Thanks for coming.
Wow! It sounds like you've packed a lot into your last 2 years (with your house etc). It's interesting the take that you have on your husband's CDing - often SO's see the trust issue the other way round. That is they feel their husband has betrayed their trust by not telling them and the marriage is put under stress as a result.

Hi Noelle--
It sounds like you've had a really full plate, with that fire. I'm glad you're coming out on the other side of it.
CDing in not easy to understand, and a big part of that is because none of us grow up hearing about it or seeing it in the world around us. That may be changing for early 20s people, because they've grown up with the Internet. Not so for the rest of us.
You don't have to keep the (S0) in your signature, because you're the only "Noelle" on the membership list.

Re: Hello All!
Hi, Noelle, and
to our home on the internet.
It is good to hear of a couple that is working things out and supportive of each other.
Sorry about the fire, but on the bright side it is symbolic of you two rising from the ashes and a new start. I wish you many happy years together.
