Quick watch you tube video that explains some of the risks of being tracked while you are on line. It explains very clearly, in layman terms, what tracking means and what are the risks. I recommend watching, it isn't very long.

I haven't personally implemented any of the products it mentions, so can't attest to what they do for you or to you.

Re: Being careful online.
Good video, thanks Kelly.
Ghostery and AdBlockPlus are my two favourite privacy add-ons. I don't use social media at all so there's not much to worry about there. Also I've always treated email as if it was a postcard, open for anyone to read. So nothing even remotely sensitive ever gets sent that way.
Just FYI Ghostery found 0 trackers on Crossdressers-Haven.com

One wears a mask for so long you forget who you are beneath it......I've now removed my mask.

Using a virtual private network (VPN) (I've used TunnelBear) insures your privacy and allows you access to to other countries that have user restrictions. Like some sites in the UK aren't accessible to us in the USA, but a VPN can bypass the restrictions.
