Renewed venture

My wife gave me some oil pastels for Christmas. I've been looking to try my hand at it again. All my drawings disappeared back in '73 when I went into the army.

So, my first attempt. A pastel painting of our grandson at 10 mo. old.

Very nice, Donna. Does it correlate with wood turning at all?

Thanks.

No Virginia, I don't think so. My Granddad did both, also.

Woodcarving is 3D whereas drawing is 2D.

And I'm not even in SL's league.

Thank you, Donna . . . but I paint with acrylics, and now some oils . . . I can't even begin to draw, with oil pastels or anything else!

Good work, Donna! It all came back to you once you picked up that brush.
