toughie because I have both and love them all. Still I have to say ankle boots, goes better with slacks or jeans and with a skirt you can show off your tights.

Pierced! (Sigh) I have had pierced earlobes several times, but have always let them heal. But it is just a nice difference when you have them pierced, not to mention all the options available for pierced ears!!
