What's on your mind?

Post by Diana Michelle »

A long time ago there was a columnist in a local paper who used to do a column called "Monday Moaning" In it he would just randomly put out things going on his head. They could be very simple, rhetorical, funny, or deep thoughts. I always loved it so let's try it here.

In a sentence or two what's going on in your head? There is no right wrong here and no reply is necessary, just the thought going on in your head at that moment. Please keep it clean and obey forum rules like no flaming, no politics, etc.

I will start to give you an idea as to what it is like.

If I am so looking forward to a White Christmas why am I dreading the snow?

Am I the only one who thinks what a hypocrite when someone says "Excuse me" as they continue to push you out of the way?

Am I the only one who gets teary eyed when those commercials for St. Life's or Shriner's hospital come on? I want to reach out and hug each and every one of those children.

Why do I always end up behind the little old lady that wants to tell their life story to the cashier at the grocery store?

Life is a series of one act plays that sometimes have absolutely nothing with the one preceding it or the one following it

So what time does Santa wake up to make his trip around the world to everyone's house? Does he adjust his sleep schedule for a while ahead of time? Does Santa have to stop and take a nap along the way?

Tis a sad commentary on our society that we need security guards in our houses of worship.
