The Dinner Party

Post by Eloise Goth »

ok...you can invite any 5 people-living or dead-for dinner. who would you pick, and why??
my guest list would be..
Jim Morrison. Genius and Legend.
Spike Milligan. A founder member of the Goons (they did what monty python did, just 20 years earlier..) and a comic mastermind.
Churchill. He can bring the after dinner cigars.
Da Vinci. My favourite artist-a master.
Winona Ryder. Well I'd want some eye candy...
And you thought I was dead.

Moses - from the old testement as he is one the people I would know what g-d is like.

Mozart - I still love his music and he is still popular after 500 years(?)

Jerry Garcia - Anouther great muscian in my mind I would to hear his stories.

Jesues Christ - I want to get his side of the story and not the one that has been altered over all these years.

Steven Spielberg - He is my idol I love (nearly) everything he has ever made.

And if one of them cancels at the last minute Maybe George Lucas so he can explain to me why the Star Wars movies went from great to so-so.

I love this question! Hmmm, whom would I invite? :-k

1. Albert Einstein - I'd totally pick his brain on his theory of relativity. It has always fascinated me.

2. Marilyn Monroe - Do we really need a reason why? She was one of the most beautiful actresses of the mid 20th Century.

3. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr - The entire world has always benefited from his message on civil rights.

4. Jimi Hendrix - He was a true artist; a musical genius. He is my favorite musician of all time. Plus he was a lefty!

5. Jack Nicholson - He is my favorite actor today. I've been a fan of his my whole life, and I've always loved the characters he's portrayed over the past 3 decades.
Live it. Love it. OWN IT.

Dinah Washington I'm sure her conversation would be as calming as her singing. =D>

Gordon Ramsey Well I need a cook and someone who can annoy people enough to keep the debate going.

Gilbert&George I know they are a pair (hope this isn't cheating) but they gave me a tin of biscuits so it would be nice to return the favour and they'd be good company anyway.

Joe Strummer from the Clash, he could talk about all his unfullfilled ambitions. RIP

Bodecia I'm just curious to see if she was as feisty as history paints her. !!arg!!
Content with myself, at last.

Just two

Thomas Jefferson and Martin Luther King. Then I would sit and listen.
