What are you thankful for today?
Hi there,
I think it would be a positive thing to have a place where we an come and place what we're thankful for on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, or year basis.
You can post up to 5 things that you feel positive about per post.
Remember thankfulness only. No negativity. We have plenty of places for that.
I hope this is a good idea.

I'm thankful that Spring weather this year in my part of the country has been normal - cool, gray, and rainy. Winter was cloudless and bone-dry, and I was expecting our typically green paradise to shrivel into Death Valley, but Spring decided to do its job. When I started to wear bras again late this Winter, I didn't think I'd do so for more than a couple of weeks before the drought and heatwaves took over and I ditched the garments in favor of comfort. But it's almost Summer, and I'm still wearing them. Every cloud has a silver lining.

Today I'm thankful for all the people sponsoring me and thousands of other women who are taking part in 'Race For Life'. http://www.raceforlife.org/
I am taking part in this event today at 11am. I know no one can sponsor me personally...I was going to set up a personalised web-page for donations but due to my house move I never got round to it...but there is a link somewhere on the above website for anyone who may wish to donate. This is a UK charity but I'm sure the research will be shared world wide! Of course, you could donate to the Cancer Research Charity of your own country. I'd love it if I my little effort today adds even a small amount to this cause.
Love,
Curly(SO)
