Eddie VanHalen? Steve Vai? Joe Satriana? Hackers compared to this man. Played with Tony Williams,Larry Coryell and Miles Davis on "Bitches Brew" and" In a Silent Way." Formed The Mahavishnu Orchestra with Billy Cobham(drums),Jerry Goodman(violin),Jan Hammer(keyboards) and Rich Laird(bass). His album "Birds of Fire" is on fire.I was lucky enough to see he and his band in 1972 and he was mesmerizing. I've never seen another guitarist who could even come close. His acoustic playing is even more amazing. Collaborated with Carlos Santana in 1973 on the album"Love,Devotion,Surrender" Who is this spiritually connected guitarist?
