Sure, Pink Floyd had some great music (Another Brick in the Wall, for example), but I wouldn't put them at the top of my list.

There's Led Zeppelin, Jethro Tull, Santana, etc. Lots of great groups. Hard to pick a #1

``5 Donna!

I am on Twitter and from time to time someone poses the question greatest album or greatest group or even greatest song from a certain group or era and honestly not sure I have one as it varies depending on mood, what I have listened to most recently, even what is going on. I agree with Donna and having lived through or perhaps survived is a better way or putting it the greatest era of music in the 60s and 70s I have a lot of favorites. Going to throw out a list of what I think belong as "greatest albums" and see who wants to add to it or even argue it doesn't belong there.

Pet Sounds - The Beach Boys
Sgt. Pepper - The Beatles
Live Bullet - Bob Seger and The Silver Bullet Band
Tommy - The Who
Rumours - Fleetwood Mac
Tapestry - Carole King
Soundtrack from The Phantom of the Opera
Hotel California - The Eagles
Dark Side of the Moon - Pink Floyd

Any others ladies?
