Has anyone asked this before?

Hi all,
Here's a tip: before you post a question or contact the Site Admins -- administratively or otherwise -- just take a few moments to scroll down these few Ask Us... pages to see if anyone's asked that particular question before. Don't forget to check the rules section - Forum Rules & Guidelines - for an answer to your query before you make your post or send your private message (PM).
Queries should not be made to the Site Admins via PM unless it is an emergency. General queries such as 'how do I ...' or 'why can't I ...' are not emergencies and they should only be asked in this area . . . provided they have not already been asked and answered by other members.
Maybe you can consider this area as sort of a FAQ page, in other words, chances are someone's beaten you to the query.
Checking to see if this is the case would save the administrators and moderators a little trouble and a lot of time. Thanks!
