Inbox vs Sentbox? - Answered

I tried to send a PM and it got as far as the "outbox". Does that mean it was actually sent? If not then how do I get my message from the outbox to the sentbox. Too many boxes?

BTW the PM was to Silver Lady

It stays in the outbox under the intended recipient reads it, then it jumps to the sentbox to indicate it has been read.
