How you came up with your Gurl name?
For me it was a great deal of thought. Not emotional or deep soul searching, but I was trying to come
up with a name that would be fitting to my gurl form?
At the time I was still into dressing slutty/sexy and getting extremely turned and using my dressing for masturbation only.
Years later and now that I have come out, I no longer feel my name suits me.
My Real first name believe it or not is : Tracey, I have thought about using my real name, what would be a really
good 2nd name to be matched with Tracey-?
Do you all think I should use my real Name- Tracey? Love to hear your comments and tips.
So question: How did you come up with your names?
See poll...
Thank you all so much in advance.

Re: How you came up with your Gurl name?
Hey Ginger! Welcome to the forum!
I picked the name Ginny - firstly because I liked it (it sounded particularly feminine to my ear), and secondly because I didn't know anyone with that name. This second reason was important to me because it meant that it was clear of associations and so easier for me to own it!
Of course since then I have realised that it is short for Virginia ... Um, OK ... I can live with that. Besides nobody calls me Virginia so it's an academic point. More worryingly, I have discovered that Harry Potter's girlfriend is called Ginny! I try not to think about that too much!
Hugs Ginny xxx (not Virginia or Harry Potter's girlfriend)!

First name sounds close to my name, and the second is my hair color.

I took the name Anne after Anne Bonny a crossdressing female pirate, and because I liked it. Nothing complicated here.

Hi,
My birth names ( i have 5 ) are noel or no-el , edward Loch-head, to noeleena ,edwina , same last name. and thats well known TVNZ papers and the net,
noel or no-el is both male and female and that really reflects what / who i am from birth, both male / female, or intersexed,
We thought we'd use noeleen till i was over in Phuket And an RN said no it has to be noeleen'e'
The 'e' is stressed as an 'a' in German, as in arrr, so every one said that was so neat so thats it,

The name comes from a childrens story book that I used to read to my daughter. The full name is Gillian Gigs, I changed the orginal J's to G's...to protect the innocent...lol.
So I concluded that there is nothing better for people than to be happy and to enjoy themselves as long as they can. People should eat and drink and enjoy the fruits of there labor, for these are gifts from God.

I'm afraid I did not think deeply on my choice. My male name starts with O and Olivia is the name of a very pretty character on General Hospital. I really do not have an explanation for the M.

Didn't know any Kelly's and did not want there to be any association with someone I knew (but since I chose it, it seems they have all come out of the woodwork LOL). The last name, by the way, is Kennedy; I like the alliteration when you say it.
Kelly.
Kelly.

Re: How you came up with your Gurl name?
My femme name I picked when I started on line. The forum I was on was very pushy about people picking a femme name for chatting on the forum. So I just picked a name close to mine to make them happy. I later realized they were very pushy about alot of things always trying to get newbies to do more instead of trying to help them to cope and figure out who they were.
Should you change your name? Ginger or Tracey is up to you. It is your name and it should be unquiely you.

Re: How you came up with your Gurl name?
When I was in junior high, there was a girl a year ahead of me who was beautiful, big-titted, and fearless. Her family moved away when she was in high school, and I don't know what happened to her.
Even so, she was so compelling, such a wonderful fantasy woman. When it came time for me to choose a name, hers was the only real choice.

Let me just give you the link to my site. It includes some help in addition to how I picked my name.
See http://davita-farley.webs.com/how_to/howname.html. I have only been Davita every since I decided on my name. I knew some girls that used to cycle through names like their wardrobes.
