Heels and ankles

Post by GeorgetteDelys »

When you are a vintage lady like me, there are great problems when you lose your balance on those adorable stiletto heels, because your ankles are rather fatigued.
Well, I was recently charmed by some delightful ankle boots with some dangerous 3 1/2 inches heels.
I took them home in a hurry and, to my great surprise, they softly and firmly wrapped my ankles like a glove, relieving all the stresses caused by the heels.
Please kindly take my advice, my ladies...and forget your ballerinas.
Hugs and kisses.

Yes age takes it's toll on the ability to wear heels. #-o I use to be able to wear 5in heels with no problem. Now those are retired and I wear lower ones.

I do love high heeled boots exactly for that reason!

Hmmm, it's been a while since I've been on a good boot shopping expedition. Maybe it's time to take a trip to Bulgaria again. I think with the travel restrictions though it my not be possible.

There was a time I could wear 4" heels all day and well into the night and never think twice about them. Not that I don't still wear heels and perhaps too high for an old lady like me but after a few hours in them it feels good to slip them off. Not sure I am ever going to give up wearing heels but a cute pair of flats is a lot easier on my arthritic hips.

Thanks Kimberly. Wish it would, but it's been several years with no improvement. Absent some other surgery, I don't think it ever will.

At least you have pretty flats. Many to choose from.
