Made my own hip pads

Post by Lily »

Today I just made my first full figure hip pads. Tried them on with the corset, and the silicone breasts and had a shape I have been working on for years. Of course it is my first try and they are not perfect. But for $11 and an hour of my time I will try again until I get them just right. I have to say, wow, what a difference from the little hip pad panties I bought a few years ago. They really balance out my bottom to my top and every dress I tried on felt like I was putting it on for the first time.

I followed the directions I saw in a you tube video an was very happy with how it worked out. Once I make the next set and work out all the kinks I will be taking some pics to show.

I guess next up is a new wig.

I bet you were thrilled to see yourself with a more womanly appearance. =D>

A widespread method for defining a woman's shape exists worldwide, and I would have to say that it really comes down to one's personal liking. Personally I like a bit of a realistic middle aged curve on my 5'8" frame so I opt for (bust/waist/hips) 44/36/45.

I look forward to some new pics with your curves :)

Add a couple inches to that waist, lol.... a cute figure you have indeed!

Fortunately as a CD I'm able to choose the figure I want (to some degree at least)

A little more work on my hips and chest. Used a looser corset so I could breath. lol
When all was said and done I was at a 41-34-44. Which balances out my 40 inch shoulders very well. I'm getting happier and happier with them. One hip is a little thinker at the bottom. I'll need to trim it down a little but it's getting better.

Just remember, no one is symetrical. We have a more muscular side and hairy and darker and so on. Our girls aren't perfectly level and I doubt seriously our hips are either. Look for "good enough". Probably if you made both pads exactly the same without regard to your hips, that would be ideal to continue the differences of your two body halves.

And congrats on that shape, girl!

Ah, that elusive hour glass figure. Except that most of you get to choose how many hours are in the glass. Wider shoulders do look better with more hip and butt to match in proportion. Nice craft work, Lily!

Great to hear Lily. I have been watching the same youtub videos and am shopping for the padding.

How thick was the padding you started with? How much does it compress when you have the pads in place?

The most common technique I have seen is to keep the in place is to keep them inside a panty girdle. Is this what you are doing?

Kelly.

Wow Lily. Great job! I tried for years to make my own but could never get them just right. Ended up buying replacement pads for the Veronica 2 from Classic Curves and they work great. Control top pantyhose keeps everything in place. https://flic.kr/p/dVD4ce.

I know just what you mean. I made some for myself following a you tube video last summer. I wasn't overly thrilled with how they turned out but it did add something to my no hips no but figure.

The one thing I did when making my own that differed from the video was that instead of hacking away at the foam with a knife or scissors I used an electric knife to cut the foam.

That's a fairly amazing result. I actually wasn't sure whether your avatar was you or an idealised image - but yes, it is you. Very nice series of pictures.

Anthony that is lovely. I wish I looked like that. I found my right hip a little bigger then my left. I tried to to fix it and ripped the pads. I am in tears now. ](*,)
