Pantyhose and panties

I thought this was discussed on another thread and I had declined to answer till after reading Alisa's post and link.
That link was fun to read!
Guess I've been buying the wrong kind of pantyhose all these years if they can replace panties. That teeny little cotton panel in the ones I buy won't do squat for hygiene. Always wear panties under hosiery. That's just advice for genetic women.
For males dressing as female, of course wear panties. In case you all didn't notice, our plumbing is different and any leaks or drips will be nowhere near that useless cotton panel. Not to mention the backside.

Wear Panties. They're much easier to launder.

Alisa that article is a hoot! I can understand what Eileen is saying but I knoe my sister never wears panties with pantyhose no did my moher. I guess this debate is almost as lively as some political ones.
