Hi all. I have long been envious of the TG events held in the US and in England and would dearly love to attend them.
Next weekend the third annual Transformal weekend will take place in the wonderfully historical town of Katoomba, one and half hours from Sydney in the beautiful Blue Mountains. (Historical for Australia is different from elsewhere as we are only two hundred years old and bushfires have a habit of preventing any buildings from becoming too historic)
Actuallly if you are interested: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Katoomba,_New_South_Wales
The event is the love child of a wonderful person called Amanda who hosts a TG website and has done for some years, Tranny Radio: http://forum.tgr.net.au/phpTR/indexHome.php She runs a tight ship. All members must abide by the rules and be active. (and be from Australia or New Zealand)
This will be my first Transformal. I am so looking forward to it. Read more here: http://www.trannytix.com/cms/eventselector/transformal
I have volunteered to help and will immerse myself in all of the activities of the weekend.
Stay tuned for a full report.
Jan Wilson
PS I searched the forum for Transformal and nothing came up which is why I submitted this post.

Hi Jan--
I like the name "transformal." It's cute and catchy. It's good that you have a gathering in your own backyard, so to speak. I have been to TG San Francisco's cottillion, but that was the only event of that type that I've ever attended.
