They went with songs to the battle, they were young.
Straight of limb, true of eyes, steady and aglow.
They were staunch to the end against odds uncounted,
They fell with their faces to the foe.
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.

Women: scientifically proven to be right even when they’re wrong.

I am grateful for the ones that were in sericve before me whether they were in in the years of fighting or the years of peace.
The soldier of war time is the one who had the glory (if there is such a thing) yet if it weren't for the soldier of peace time there would be nothing to fight with.
Whether in war or peace the service man and woman went, they gave, and some gave their all.

I personally feel this is extremely important
I have attended our Remembrance service every year I was able since I was a child. Two minutes silence is little to ask for those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
I for one know what they gave and I avow that for as long as I live I will try and make the younger generation appreciate too
