I went back and read her posts. It is a great loss to all of us, when something like this happens. She must have lived near me, but I never met her. I wish she could have reached out to our support group, but there's no going back.

I never know how to respond to these things. Years ago I lost a close friend to suicide. I didn't take it kindly. On the other hand, I can't honestly say I've never been to that place, though I've obviously come back. It's good when we do come back. It's a shame when we don't.

From what I've read of Rachel's posts, she seemed spirited, with a good sense of humor - though she apparently hadn't posted in some time. Sometimes the struggle is quiet and lonely. @->->-
