The Photo Gallery is supposed to be a place where we can share our favorite photos with each other; a place where we can put a face to that person we were just chatting with on the forum.
** There will be no 'advance warning' or notice provided to any member if or when any of their photos and/or gallery album(s) are deleted pursuant to the rules cited below. Everyone here is an adult and it is their responsibility to read and follow all rules. **
As a reminder to everyone, here are the updated rules:
Basic Rules
Headless or faceless pictures are not allowed, and that means no backside photos, too. If you don’t wish to show your face, you can obscure your facial features in the following ways: artistically hide part or all of your face while taking your picture (don’t face the camera, wear a mask, strategically place hair); use a photo editing program (use a blur filter or some other method).
Lingerie pictures are fine if they are full body shots and kept tasteful. Please refrain from suggestive/distasteful poses, boob shots, crotch shots, pictures showing male organs or telltale bulges, nudity, and sex toys.
Do not post photos that show any male or female genitalia of any kind. What you think is great might be offensive to someone else, so please be considerate and keep it clean.
Artistic and humorous pictures MAY be allowed at the discretion of the administrators.
Any photo wherein the member (or image) is dressed in obviously female attire there is to be no male facial hair visible (ie, beard, mustache, goatee, etc.); beard ‘shadow’ that shows through makeup is exempt. We understand that there may be circumstances which prevent the member from shaving them off, and that is fine. However, you are either presenting as a female, or you are presenting as a male. Females do not normally have male facial hair, and males do not normally have female breasts. If necessary, please use a blur filter or strategically rearrange your hair to cover the male facial hair.
Please remember that we do have many wives, girlfriends, and family members who are really struggling to accept that their husband, boyfriend, or family member is a MTF crossdresser or transgender. Seeing photos of the proverbial ‘bearded lady’ does not help them to accept this aspect of their man in any way, shape or form and does more harm than good.
This is not a porno site and as such all inappropriate photos, images, and/or links will be immediately deleted and the member will receive one (1) warning PM. Any member who continues to post inappropriate photos, images, and/or links after they have been warned will be permanently banned from the Forum.
The final decision of whether a picture is acceptable rests solely with the Site Administrators.
Links to Photo Gallery
At our members' request, the Photo Gallery is not accessible by the general public, and members must be logged in to view the Gallery. As such, we do not allow posts to contain any links to our Photo Gallery. Any such links will be automatically deleted and the posting member will receive only 1 warning/reminder. Any member who continues to post links to the Photo Gallery after they have been warned will be permanently banned from the Forum, and this is not negotiable.
Additionally, if we are informed that any member is providing links to the Photo Gallery from any outside source – be it an email, blog post, or any other forum or website - they will be immediately and permanently banned from the forum, and this is not negotiable.
Maximum Photo Limit
Everyone is limited to a maximum of 25 pictures regardless of how many albums you have. If you reach that limit and want to add more photos, please delete your older ones first before adding more.
Posting Requirement for Photo Gallery
All members, especially the new members, are encouraged to make several posts before uploading photos, and 5 posts is a good starting point. Sure, we'd like to see what you look like, but we would also like your participation at the Forum. Posts made in the New Members, Member Announcements, In Loving Memory and the entire Arts & Leisure section will not count towards the 5 post minimum. In other words, we want to see active participation before you start uploading photos. Members must also maintain the minimum posting requirements in order to keep their gallery album(s).
Members who have posted on the forum prior to January 17, 2008 who have not met the minimum post count but have uploaded photos in the Gallery prior to this date will be exempt from this Posting Requirement. However, photos from any member who has never made a post will be deleted, regardless of how long they have been a member. No matter how nice they are or how great you look, photos without any posts to use as a reference point mean absolutely nothing.
Weekly Upload Limit
{*} You will also notice that the "Latest Additions" section in the Photo Gallery only displays the 10 most recent photos that have been uploaded. {***} As a matter of courtesy, members will be limited to a maximum of two (2) new photos within a seven (7) day period - regardless of how they are 'spaced out' within a 7-day period - and by doing so other members' new photos will also have the chance to be displayed in the "Latest Additions" section. The calendar starts ticking based on the first photo uploaded and not on a "rolling" 7-days between each photo, so no one can theoretically upload 3 or more photos within a 7-day period. Please keep in mind that the Photo Gallery is not meant to be an online-brag-book, and all members are limited to a maximum of 25 photos in the Photo Gallery.
{**} Collage images - wherein multiple photos are 'merged' into one photo - will not be permitted, as that is a clear violation of our weekly upload limit.
Anyone who is found to be copying (stealing) members' photos and posting them elsewhere will be immediately banned from the Forum.
Photos of members who have been inactive for at least 1 year will also be deleted. These members may upload new photos if/when they become active participants provided they follow all the above rules for the gallery.
Photos of members who have been permanently banned will be deleted in their entirety.
