Avatars

Post by KimberlyS »

Hi, Everyone -

** There will be no 'advance warning' or notice provided to any member if or when their avatar is deleted pursuant to the rules cited below. Everyone here is an adult and it is their responsibility to read and follow all rules. **

As you are aware, avatars basically follow the same guidelines as does the Photo Gallery (no nudity, etc.).

Avatars must contain a face, even if the face is blurred, and 'back of the head' or 'rear-view' photos are not acceptable, and there should be minimal text in the avatar; in other words, avatars that are photos of quotes or sayings, or are solely of objects (ie, purses, shoes, hats, etc.) are not permitted and will be removed immediately.

'Group photos' in which the member is included will not be permitted, even if everyone in the photo is a member of this forum; more importantly, non-members will not be permitted in any avatars. Avatars that are of 'stock images' will be permitted provided they resemble a human being and also conform to our rules for the photo gallery.

Partial body shot avatars and avatars those that do not include the full face (blurred or not) will not be permitted and will be removed immediately.

Additionally, any avatar wherein the member (or image) is dressed in obviously female attire there is to be no male facial hair visible (ie, beard, mustache, goatee, etc.); beard ‘shadow’ that shows through makeup is exempt. We understand that there may be circumstances which prevent the member from shaving them off, and that is fine. However, you are either presenting as a female, or you are presenting as a male. Females do not normally have male facial hair, and males do not normally have female breasts. If necessary, please use a blur filter or strategically rearrange your hair to cover the male facial hair.

Please remember that we do have many wives, girlfriends, and family members who are really struggling to accept that their husband, boyfriend, or family member is a MTF crossdresser or transgender. Seeing photos or images of the proverbial ‘bearded lady’ does not help them to accept this aspect of their man in any way, shape or form and does more harm than good.

The final decision on whether an avatar is acceptable for the Forum rests solely with the Site Administrator(s).

In order to reduce clutter and conserve space on our shared server, the avatars of members who have been inactive for at least 2 years will be deleted. Those members may put up another avatar if/when they become active participants.

Avatars of members who have been permanently banned will be deleted in their entirety.

Thank you for your cooperation.
