We have heard that Southern Comfort is a fun time. Maybe a future vacation destination?
Chicago area had a similar Be-All. We were lucky enough to attend twice before internal bickering folded the organizing board.

Yes Southern Comfort is a lot of fun. I have been twice and am trying to attend this year. If you are new CDing, unable to get out much, want to get out in a safe environment, meet others like us, learn how to do things like make up etc. this is the place.

One correction to your post Virginia, the SCC web site shows the dates as Sept 29 through Oct 3rd..
This is the first year it will be held in Florida. It should be great fun.

I missed this message until it was too late. Does anyone know when and where the 2016 conference will be?

SCC was great fun. Met some old friends and made some new ones. I think it is something that every Gurl should experience at least once.
This year being the first time in Ft Lauderdale everything went really well. The resort took good care of us, all 350 of us.

For the next 2 yrs it is scheduled to be at Bonaventure resort, which is actually in Weston.
Dates for next year are 100% yet as far as I know but, it will be in September. They usually open registration about 4 months before,
So start checking the SCC web site around April/May
