Michelle at the hotel & Michelle 2.0

Post by Michelle Diane »

Michelle 2.0

That's what I've decided to call the re-emergence of Michelle. Let me explain. As you may be aware my wife and I have recently moved back to her home town of St. Louis. We spent 8 days in a 4 star hotel in London where I was out and about as much as possible.

Most mornings I would get up shower and decide what to wear for the day, pop on my forms and get dressed do my makeup don my wig and then we'd go out. Luckily there is a back stairwell that doesn't come out in the foyer in view of reception and the concierge desk. We would take the stairs and go out the back way into the station. Paddington in a main line station with thousands of people using it every day so we could get lost in the crowd. One day we went shopping in Boots and Sainsburys and stopped for a coffee. No one gave us a second look and my confidence was building. On our 5th day there I decided to test myself and come in the main door of the hotel. I had dressed in my business suit of a navy blazer and knee length skirt with a white satin blouse, a floral print silk scarf round my neck and tied at the side, tan hose and grey 2” heels I wore my usual shoulder length dark blonde wig some light makeup, the night before I had glued on a set of working length French nails, earrings, necklace and bracelet with a small grey clutch purse rounded off my ensemble I borrowed my wife's laptop bag to go with the business woman appearance. There are usually dozens of people in the public bar and lounge having business meetings so I thought another one wouldn't be noticed.

I approached the doors and the doorman acknowledged me and opened the door with a smile and a good morning madam. Now I was really in it with reception to my right and the concierge to the left. Okay I thought to myself lets go. I went to the concierge desk and asked him to call our suite and tell Mrs M that Michelle Woodbury from Beaumont ,Sadler, Queen solicitors was here for our meeting. He called and hung up telling me she would be right down.

RIGHT DOWN WTF!! I thought to myself.

She was supposed to tell the concierge to send me up, that was the plan, NOT her come down. At that moment the floor walker (not sure what his job title is but he manages the floor and has a wonderful French accent came over). He and the concierge exchanged a few words. He turned to me and said Madam if you would accompany me I will escort you to our executive lounge, and is more conducive to meetings of a private nature.

Private nature? I said in a questioning tone thinking that's it the games up I've been rumbled and they just was to get the freak out of the public eye. Yes madam, he said with a smile Derrick told me you are from a legal firm so I assume you would not wish to discuss the affairs in a public area. This way madam.

We walked the entire hotel from front to back I imagined every pair of eyes was on me and I was shaking inside. We got to the locked lounge door and he used his keycard to open the door and held it for me I thanked him and he replied my pleasure madam. He showed me to a seat and I sat putting my bag by the seat and remembered I was wearing a skirt so I crossed my legs. He disappeared for a couple of minutes and came back with another member of staff, Irena, a very nice young lady with a Polish accent (I think) she asked me if I would like Tea, Coffee or something stronger. I almost blurted out a pint of beer but stopped myself and asked for a glass of house white please. About a minute later she returned with a tray on which she had the wine and a small plate of assorted canapés she said it was with the compliments of the hotel as she put them on the table next to me and my party would be arriving shortly.

Well I knew guests on the sixth floor terrace wing were treated like royalty but didn't know it extended to their guests. But I suppose for about $1450.00 per night they damn well should be.

I took a sip of the wine and noticed there wasn't a lipstick stain on the glass, guess I was so nervous I had licked it all off, I put the wine down and reached for my purse took out a small mirror and looked. Yep! Bare naked lips I found and reapplied my lipstick. As I was putting it back in the purse there was a ding from the door announcing a guest was entering and Irena greeted her. So my wife had finally decided to show up and hopefully end my torment.

I must say she did look hot. She was wearing her three piece purple pant suit of pants blouse and a knee length coat, she was wearing her Kumihimo drop necklace and matching bracelet her makeup was immaculate (wish I was that good) and had on a pair of black peep toe pumps.

She came over and sat in the chair next to me I leaned closer and said this isn't part of the plan. With a slight grin she replied I know but Michelle hasn't been around much lately what with the move and packing and constant visitors to the house. I thought I'd like to spend some time with her.

Well okay I like that idea but does it have to be in a somewhat public place?

Oh you're doing fine no one suspects a thing.

Well we sat there for a good half an hour just talking and we noticed the lounge was filling up so we decided it was time to leave. We stood and I went to shake her hand and she pulled me in close and planted one hell of a kiss on my lips. I wasn't sure who was more shocked me or the two guys at the next table.

My wife has one hell of a playful streak in her and unfortunately for me it was in top gear right now.

Oh sorry I appear to have smudged your lipstick she said with a playful tone in her voice. Why don't you come with me back to my suite? There's a huge mirror in the bathroom and a spare robe if you want to shower and freshen up. My husband is way across town and won't be back for hours. There's a wonderful view of London from my terrace. I noticed she was using her seductive voice.

I thought to myself good god this woman has no shame Well with her last remark we had the attention of the guys next to us. So I though oh what he hell and replied well if you're sure we won't be disturbed okay then. We walked out the lounge past the floor walker who acknowledged us with a smile and a slight head bow into the lift and back to our suite.

What happened next is shall we say private but if you've watched the French film “The New Girlfriend” and the hotel scene it was like that but didn't end as disastrously for us as it did for Virginia and Claire.

That was the good part of our journey. The bad part was when United Airlines lost Michelle's checked bag. I had another bag which contained everything I would need for Michelle from forms, undies, clothes, shoes, wig etc. The worse thing is it also had the SD card with our photos on it. Luckily my wife's 14 years in the airline industry streamlined the compensation process and we've received compensation for the missing bag. It came nowhere near to covering the missing items but at least they didn't get away scott free.

That's why I called this thread Michelle at the hotel & Michelle 2.0 as Michelle is in the process of being reinvented from the ground up with new everything. At the moment we're giving 100% of our time to finding a house but when that's done we're gonna go shopping!!

It's sounds amazing, Michelle - and I'm pretty envious.

Wow! I'm afraid Missouri is going to seem rather tame after that. :sigh:

Sounds like a fun time Michelle although that hotel is something I doubt I would ever experience at that price.

What a wonderful day you had Michelle. Yes, I can vouch for the service at London hotels, having stayed in one (unfortunately not as Requal) near the same price to yours.

Well as my wife said it's the last time we get to do this, so lets make the most of it. Little did we realise at the time how prophetic that was.
