Hi Jessie!!!
A pair of sandles from Wallyworld, on sidewalk-end-of-season sale, for five USD!! They had two pair in my size, one low heel in Natural, and one 1.5 inch heel, in Navy. That's the one I bought.

I bought a wig last night. It was cheap (less than $6.00!), from the Halloween costume section at WalMart. It was an impulse buy, but it seemed like the right thing at the time. Oh, was it!
I skimmed through the rest of the store, picking up the few things I'd actually gone shopping for, then raced home.
I stripped out of my work clothes, and into a Vassarette thong and Victoria's Secret bra. I put in my homemade breast forms (birdseed, from instructions I found online). Then I did some basic makeup: eyeshadow, eyeliner, mascara, a little blush and finally my lips. I didn't worry about covering my beard (at 2 in the morning, I didn't care!). I agonized a little about clothes, before settling on a red top and a pair of black jeans, with a pair of 3-inch sandals. Then I put on the wig. It's a costume piece, black and red (kind of a punk look).
I looked in the mirror and saw a face I haven't seen in years: my own. I know that sounds melodramatic, but it's true. It was like meeting someone I hadn't seen in a very long time. I wasn't "fully dressed", but it was like a weight was lifted from me, and I felt a kind of peace I haven't known in a long time. This is what my wife denied me when she wouldn't let me dress. I was up for another couple of hours, then I washed off the makeup, hung up my clothes and got ready for bed. The wig is sitting on top of King Tut, one of those Puzz-3D sculptures I picked up on clearance a few years ago. It's not an ideal wig form, but it'll do. I slept like a baby.

Hiya girls,
Jaye, sounds like a very exciting time with the new wig and makeup. Are you ready for halloween yet, are you dressing for halloween, i am going to a bar on halloween as Rosanne Rosanna Dana, i think it's the perfect time to be out , no one will care if you pass or not.
your excitement in the dressing mode is very contagious. I like it, this is so cool.
I went shopping yesterday at the Salvation Army I bought two Dress Suit jackets, 6 misc tops all for $11.00. I could not believe the prices. I saw a burgandy two piece suit and did not buy it I am going back on thrusday so it had better still be there, have to work late tonite so I can't go tonite, That will go nicely with my tan fringed boots.. happy dressin.......kristen
