General talk about CD/TGing and gender topics that aren't necessarily fun things we do while en femme, or for gender-driven discussions.

Embarrasing Subject

Post by Claire »

Hey girls,

As you have probably seen on here I am a new girl looking for some answers, I am totally o.k about what I wear etc and love every second of it. I am not sure of the etiquette here so I am just going to have to hope for the best.

As a new cdr of six months I have found that I love wearing tight clothing, jeans, trousers, leggings etc and a crop top with a c cup bra. no problems there as I am only petite a size 8 uk infact.

the one thing and I dont know how to say this as I am really embarassed and have never spoken to anyone I know about it, is that no matter what I wear even in my underwear I can hide my manhood shall we say. I have heard people mention "tucking"..?? what is this and how is it done and what is the best way to do it as I want to look totally femme in anything that I am wearing without anything giving it away.

I love acting like a woman, talking, walking etc but this is the one thing holding me back  can anyone please give me some advice or help me out on this. I am a desperate girl looking for an answer....

Please help

Love
Claire...xx

Hi Claire,

Some of the other girls will, I'm sure, be able to give you a better answer, but this is at least a good introduction to what actually is a very controversial topic.

There are really three levels to tucking:

1. The easiest is simply to wear something very tight such as a panty girdle, carefully arranging the private parts underneath so they'll be comfortable but invisible.

2. Pull the flaccid penis back between the legs and carefully arrange the testicles, one on either side of the penis, then secure the arrangement with something tight such as a panty girdle or a sanitary pad under the panties.

3. Locate the holes in the pelvis bone, and carefully press the testicles up through the holes, back into the pelvic cavity. Then follow level 2 to secure the penis.

So what is controversial about tucking?

1. For some CDs, even level 1 is excruciatingly painful for more than a short period of time. How long? Depends on the individual. For me, about 90 minutes, tops.

2. Some CDs discover that they are unable to do "level 3" tucking. The testicles are too big for the holes! Oh well...

3. If it's a tight fit to get the testicle up into the pelvic cavity, it may not come out again. I guess the next step would be to see a doctor. Try explaining that to your doctor!

4. The reason why the testicles descend from the pelvic cavity in the first place is that full body heat kills sperm. So if you're concerned about your ability to father children, it is best to limit your tucking to short periods of time.

5. A very few authors online claim to have suffered permanent damage from tucking every day. The worst case reported was testicular cancer so bad that the author had to be castrated! Others have poo-pooed this account, but I tend to believe what people say happened to them, unless I have evidence to the contrary.

If you get the idea from this post that I avoid tucking, you've read right. I live full-time as an openly transgendered woman and avoid tucking as much as possible. This means my bathing suit has a little skirt on it, and when I wear leggings, it's under a long shirt. But your mileage may vary, based on your goals and your anatomy. I do know plenty of girls who tuck quite successfully. Good general advice is, only tuck when you need to, and only as far as necessary. And keep your tucked time short.
Love and respect,
Rikki

Hi Claire,

Rikki's post was PERFECT. So I can't add anything really, but I will say be yourself.

Thanks Rikki and again welcome Claire! (said that in your new members post)

Hi Rikki,

I don't doubt he got cancer, but it almost certainly had nothing to do with tucking any more than wearing a hat causes brain cancer.

Hi Claire,

Pretty name, btw--same as my older sister's middle name. You might look into a gaff. This particular garment serves the same general purpose as tucking--making things low profile. :) Now I'm not actually endorsing gaffs (I've never even tried one), but some CD's use them to help smuggle their equipment in under radar  , so they might be worth investigating.

Yours,
Celia

Hi, I wear a Veronica 2 from Classic Curves. It does two things for me, holds me in and gives me hips. I'm very pleased with the results. I used to tuck using Rikki's #3 method and additionally used tape to hold everything together. That works too, but the something tight is easier to get in and out of.

Hi Lisa,

I got two of those, but they made me look too wide. :(

I was bummed.

The key to the Veronica is knowing that Espy, the owner, favors wide hips. There is a question on the order form IIRC that asks how wide you want your hips. You have to go a size smaller than you expect. Did you ask to exchange the pads and get smaller ones? She'll do that w/in 30 days.

The other thing is that you appear so tall and slender that your look may not "call" for much hip.

Hi Lisa,

No I didn't do that. I didn't even think about it to be honest. :(

You kind of said what my wife said. I'm tall and so the hips are really needed as much.

Thanks for the FYI about ordering if I ever decide to get them again, I'll make sure I same VERY trim hips. :)

I hope there really isn't many dangers of tucking. I have been tucking for over a month straight now. and find it much more comfortable. I'm not concerned about being sterile.

I'd have to agree. Cancer usually requires the introduction at some point of a carcinogenic substance, usually unknown by the victim. Simply tucking wouldn't do it.

BTW, welcome, Claire. You sound young, and it seems that younger CDs are far more well-adjusted than many of their older sisters. I wish you the best.

yes, I was doing some searching, and found it to be an interesting topic, so I added to it. I actually was searching to see what most did for tucking. I originally just did #2, but it was not all that tight, and was uncomfortable. Currently I use #3, But in a different way. It works well, so all is good. I did as much reading as I could just to be safe.

*** I edited it, to remove some details. ***

PM me if your curious as to what I do. Thanks

Alright, ladies, I know ya'all need to chat about this subject, but some things should not be posted in the open forum (^ hint, hint); that is just way TMI and should only be shared via PM's, IMHO.

Anyway, this subject should have been moved to Crossdresser Talk when it was first started, but I wasn't here then (nor the Site Admin).

Carry on, ladies . . . but try not to be so graphical in the open forum, okay? Remember, the general public can read these posts, and some of them may be minors (and/or GG's, too).
