Christmas Is Just Around The Corner

Post by Dixie Darling »

This message is for those of you who are spouses of crossdressers
and who have either not accepted your partner's crossdressing at
all, or have afforded him minimal tolerance/acceptance.

Remember the first Christmas you spent together as man and wife (or
just together if you're co-habitating)? I'd just about bet that you
remember well what you gave each other that year. Now if you've been
together for as long as I've been with my wife, what did you give
each other the year AFTER that? What about at five years? Ten?
Fifteen? Gotcha, haven't I? You don't remember!

This could be the year that can give him something he'll remember from now on. It won't cost you a thing and it will mean more to him than
ANYTHING you might be able to purchase. Give him your acceptance and
the love that goes along with it. I can just about guarantee you
that this ONE gift will be returned to you tenfold in the years to
come. You don't have to understand crossdressing, but you'll have to
be open minded enough to make an effort to learn all you can about
it. By doing just that, you're giving him something that money can't
buy - your unconditional love and really - isn't that what Christmas
is all about?

Think about it.

BRAVO.
I must thank you for that even though I am a single crossdresser. It does mirror what I am sure many of us are feeling. We do not need for anyone to buy us gifts for or fem side (though it would be nice). Mostly what we want more than anything is for you to accept the people you love for who they are. Remember you did not fall in love with us because of what we wear but for our personalities, our abilty to make you laugh, and that special feeling you get when we are around.
Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons. As you are crunchy and good with chocolate!

Dixie's post got me thinking back to Christmas about six years ago.

My femme side had been becoming a lot more important to me, so important that simply existing quietly among genderphobic society was becoming impossible and that alarmed me. I was in a mood to reign in my transgenderedness, even to the point of going to a very conservative church that taught against crossdressing.

Under their guidance, I was thinking of purging, "once and for all."

I asked my wife what she thought we should do. She told me she would think about it. I could see she was not happy with the way I was going.

Her answer was eloquently simple: the first Christmas gift she asked me to open was a single pair of pantyhose. That was her answer.

The purge was forgotten. Instead, we "purged" that church from our lives and have been much happier ever since!
Love and respect,
Rikki

Last year was the first Christmas I restarted crossdressing since age 18. I told her very soon after I started again that summer and she was very accepting (the story is in another thread).

A little while before Christmas we went to a party which was pretty formal by our casual standards. I wore my best (male) suit and my wife wore her best dress.

I loaned her a beige Bali underwire bra and matching color Vassarette panties that she gave me that summer. I gave her an early Christmas present of a watch that went with her outfit.

We enjoyed the party, and after we arrived back home, she gave me an early Christmas gift, a goldtone expansion band femme watch.

On Christmas, among my gifts were a beautiful pair of goldtone hoop clip earrings and satin panties! Yes, she accepts my femme side!

This evening, we went to a Kmart partly because they advertised women's shoes on sale for $5 a pair. We looked, but there was nothing I liked in my size. In previous sales like this, I have picked up 3 pairs of shoes, half of my shoe collection so far.

I hope all CDs have SOs as accepting and understanding.

I everyone :) , well this will be our first Christmas togethter and the wife and I were talking about what you would like for Christmas. Money will be limited because of a new truck and insurance :? which I figure everone knows about that. So a long story short she ask "what does Carol Ann want?". To tell the truth I told her Carol Ann had everthing she needed, her love and support a free hand dressing as often as I wish. What else could a girl ask for?. :P Well I could push the envelope and say " to go out in public" , but I have it good so I don't push. Love Carol Ann

LOL :P

No gossip, silly goose. ;)

I'm just a sucker for stories about loving and supporting SOs. Just like the kind you, Jadeanne, and Rikki shared (just to name a few).

I really still love this thread!!! ;)

OK Beauty only because you ask. I guess this should be under coming out but!!. I don't share my life with people because I am a loner, my wife found my things and I was forced to tell the truth. Again long story short after a week or so she saids " you are still the same person I married". Life has been so much easyer since that day [[smile]] Why oh why I could not have told her sooner and lived a life out in the open :P .
Now we are 3 and happy and no more hiding everthing is out in the open and life is fantastic. Yes there will be a present under the tree for Carol Ann :P I know I'm early but merry Christmas :P :P :P :P
