If you have seen the TV commercial for Pier 1 Exports, and seen the lady singing Santa Baby, well I would like her dress. Oh what the heck, it's Christmas. I want the whole look too.

How about getting an SO?

Seriously, I'd have to say a decent digital camera so that I could capture those special girly moments all year round. If price is an object, then a decent pair of calf-length winter boots with nifty 3" heels (hey, winter's a cold reality up in these parts!). If price is still an object, then just a simple card saying how much my SO loves me--in all my guises. :)

Love,
CJ

CJ couldn't have said it better -- "then just a simple card saying how much my SO loves me--in all my guises". It would absolutely be the best present I could wish for. Cindy

I feel so fortunate that my wife accepts me as I am, I know that I will treasure whatever she gives me. Last year, my first since I restarted CDing after 33 years, she gave me lingerie and jewelry.

She told me that she has a present for me for New Years and it's something she might want to borrow sometime - interesting.

I hope all forum members are as fortunate.

Sadly what I want for Christmas is not fem at all. though I wish someone would buy me a nice leotard. Now for what I want is a new PC case, motherboard, and an AMD 64 bit processor. Now I know I am not getting any of that so I will have to buy it my self. Such is life.

Well, if we're gonna get materialistic, a 23" monitor for my Mac would be nice . . . in fact, TWO of them would be PERFECT! But I've a hunch that Santa will figure out I haven't been THAT good this year LOL!!!

Santa Baby

Santa baby, just slip a sable under the tree, for me...
I've been an awful good girl!
Santa baby, and hurry down the chimney tonight!
Santa baby, a '54 convertible too, light blue
I'll wait up for you dear!
Santa baby, and hurry down the chimney tonight!

Think of all the fun I've missed!
Think of all the girls that I haven't kissed!
Next year I could be oh so good
If you'd check off my Christmas list...
Boo doo bee doo

Santa honey, I wanna yacht and really that's not a lot.
I've been an angel all year.
Santa baby, so hurry down the chimney tonight!
Santa cutie, there's one thing I really do need, the deed
To a platinum mine!
Santa cutie, and hurry down the chimney tonight!

Santa baby, I'm filling my stocking with a duplex, and checks...
Sign your 'X' on the line!
Santa baby, and hurry down the chimney tonight!
Come and trim my Christmas tree
With some decorations bought at Tiffany's!
I really do believe in you!
Let's see if you believe in me.
Boo doo bee doo

Santa baby, forgot to mention one little thing, a ring!
I don't mean a phone...
Santa baby, so hurry down the chimney tonight!
Hurry down the chimney tonight!
Hurry down the chimney tonight
I am what I am, and that's all that I am.

What is the one femme item that you would love for your SO to get you for Christmas?

I'd just love to hear what all you Gals want under your tree...

Hi Sharon,

I'd like something soft. Maybe something for wearing around the house or something I can wear to bed. Even if that's a new soft perfume. :)

Well being Jewish, Christmas does not mean that much to me. But don't worry we have Hanukah. Also since I do not have an SO, and I do not believe I will get one by this holiday season, I will just say what I would like in materialistic sense. I believe I would like a nice pair of shoes where I do not feel like I am clomping around in, like the ones I currently have. I am not sure if that means much as I buy most of my clothes. As I see it I am not sure what else I would ask for under, the Hanukah bush, (see Old Testament of the burning bush) I have gotten some ideas from those who have posted and when I talked with my mom today. She let out a surpise for me as she said she is putting together a small makeup kit for me.

COOL MOM

Hi Jessie,

Your mom sounds awesome. My own mother, at some point, also gave me much of her own makeup--and showed me how use and apply it! (Tip #349: "Always use a lip contour pencil--same shade or slightly darker than your lipstick--in order to prevent your lipstick from "bleeding.")

She's always worked in the beauty industry, so I trust her cosmetics savvy.

Let us know what she gave you, eh Jessie? I'm curious.

Love,
CJ

Very cool. I bought my first dress at a second hand story with my mom to get her idea of what she thought. She is also the one who fixed a petticoat I picked up there at another time as the waist band need new elastic.

Friday was a Wonder day for me.

I took the day off because I had Remicade infusion in the morning for my arthritis - it really seems to help me.

My wife and I went to lunch in a plaza at a buffet we go to often. When we finished, she asked me if I would mind if we went to the Avenue store next door because SHE wanted to look at clothes (she gets the urge to go clothes shopping for herself a handful of times a year). We went in and there were several racks of $6.99 clearance items. I helped her look at various items, then she narrowed down her choices to a pair of slacks and coordinating top.

I handed her some money, and then she shooed me out of the store and told me she would catch up at the Media Play store (books, movies, music). I followed orders and went ahead. After she met me at Media Play store we separated for a while and she shopped.

After we met again we went to the car and she said not to look in the back of the car. We then went to a thrift store next to the plaza. We looked at books and my wife picked out a paperback. Then we looked at evening/bridesmaids dresses - one would have fit and it was $5.99, but I didn't really like the color, so the book was the only thing we bought there.
The selection should be better after New Years.

On the short drive home, she told me that her shopping for me was all finished for Christmas, New Years, my January birthday, and Valentines day.

I know I'll be getting some fun gifts. I wish all the "girls" in the forum were as fortunate.

I'd love anything my wife would give me but I am positive feminine things are not even on her mind when thinking of shopping for me :(
