New here. . . but not to cross dressing

Post by Wesley »

hello all. . .

It was a serendipitous discovery when I stumbled upon this board. I had been an occasional poster on another board that used to be at:

http://f24.parsimony.net/forum54410/

But the owner decided to pull the plug when the UK changed its laws and demanded to know who posted what (from my understanding) and she felt she could not in good consciousness do that.

At any rate, here I find myself! From what I can see this is a well read and posted site.

A wee bit about myself:

Well, I am 49 years old and work in the health care field (Ok, I am an RN) and live in the United States. I have been cross dressing since I was 12 years old. I still cross dress, but my dressing is limited to "under dressing," as I have little desire to go out fully dressed or attempt to pass.

Like many of you, the reason for my cross dressing has changed over the years. During adolescence, it was for sexual gratification. But as I grow older I find that I cross dress to relieve stress. It's sort of a funny truism, when my wife remarked that "When I get home, I want to take my bra off, and when you get home, you want to put your bra on!"

I have posted to another thread how my life changed from the moment I first tried on a bikini during the summer of 1972. . .

I have chosen to use my regular name as opposed to adopting a feminine persona, becasue for me, it is a part of who I am. . . I don't try to pass, or as I mentioned, go out fully dressed. I guess its a matter of treating cross dressing as a part of my masculine self as opposed to a different feminine side, if that makes sense.

I look forward to chatting and conversing with others here!

Hi, again, Wesley, and welcome to the Forum. You'll find this forum is vastly different from the CDDF, and that's the way we like it. *-*

We look forward to your participation.

Hi Wesley,

I am glad you seem to have a handle on your place on the CD continuum. That is a good thing. We look forward to your sharing with us.
