Can you tell I'm blushing? I wish I could credit all my experience in creating that look but it's actually the work of a professional makeup artist, my regular hair stylist who competes internationally with her color work, and their photographer. It was a lot of fun but it's definitely much more polished than my day-to-day look.

It's hard to believe I joined the forum just 5 years, 1 month, and 5 days ago. A lot has changed in my life since then. It's part of what makes this place special; we each have our unique unique paths to follow but we're not alone in doing so.

Now, back to Christy...

A big thank you to all all you wonderful ladies for your touching welcomes. Like many of you I have struggled with this aspect of my life for many years. Lately I have decided to embrace my femininity and to enjoy. I realize that this will not always be an easy road to travel ,but it is one that I must walk. It is nice to have a place to talk to ladies who are taking similar journeys.

I think you are right, once you accept this aspect of your life as something that is a part of what and who you are rather than something you do, then that difficult path become s a little bit easier, and of course it's much more fun to walk it in high heels.
