Hi, there.

Let me introduce myself. I'm a 23 year old person from Iceland and the first time I wanted to wear a dress was when I was four. Since then I have had periods in my life where I cross dressed but because of the incredible shame I associated with it these periods were short. I tried on my sisters bras and clothes and once ruined my mothers lipstick. But I was never caught and forgot about these desires for some years. I met my SO. at 15 and we've been together since, and are now happily married. My feminine urges returned when I was 17 and I told my SO. that I wanted to wear female lingerie and she actually bought me my first bra!
The longings have been coming and going since then, but there was always the shame. Recently I completely opened up to my wife and told her everything about how I wish for nothing more than to be able to be female at times. She has been nothing but supportive and has even helped me get over most of the shame of expressing my feminine self in private.
I have been thinking a lot about gender identity and am trying to find myself and where I fit in the scheme of things. Therefore I want to participate in a supportive society that understands my feelings, I'm happy to have found this site. It looks its kind and supportive.
