"Gaff"..... hahahaha! Hells Bells, leave it to me to come up with some double entendre.

Anthony: The point you bring up is another reason I am glad I came here. Until you said that I was working under the subconscious assumption that it was sexual... in its entirety. *forehead slap* Of course it isn't. Yes, it elicits a strong sexual response in me. But, if I examine it further I can see a bit deeper than this first layer. I want to tell her she is beautiful and sexy. I want to celebrate it together. And that part feels quiet and strong and definitely not sexual. It's wanting to support and shelter. Yes, I feel protective. I would gladly jump to her defense in a bar. It's exotic and thrilling and it's like discovering there is a whole new aspect to living. It gives me hope.... hope that there is more to our existence than just what I've known.

I've met someone like I've never known before. Layers and new perspectives. New ways to exist in our world. I'm thrilled and... perhaps a bit awed. I'll go slow... I'll let her open whatever doors she feels lead to open. In the mean time, I will try to prepare myself the best I can to be a worthwhile guest.

Thanks again to all of you.

Mariko, it is good of you to back off and give him some room. Depending on where he is at on his self acceptance you may not want to leave it completely up to him to bring up the topic again. You could after some time say something to him like you want to talk more about his CDing when he is ready to talk about it. That way he knows you are ready to talk more about it and not running away scared.

"Layers" I'm reminded of Shrek trying to explain to Donkey what it is like being an Ogre, but Donkey doesn't listen, or understand; lets not be like Donkey, and remember that being like and onion doesn't necessarily mean we smell!

Firstly Mariko, welcome to the site.

Secondly, Bless you.
Your a rare and wonderful breed of woman.

Thirdly, thank you for coming here, you give me hope that i might be blessed enough to meet such an intelligent lady myself.
It gives me hope to know that ladies like you exist, and that goes for all of you lovely GGs.

I think being patient is a good idea, but when it comes time to talk more about it all, the numero uno rule is always communicate........openly, honestly and with compassion, even when things get difficult.

Cassandra: what a lovely thing to say. Cyber hug, you beautiful creature. (--)

Paula: Great analogy and Great Movie. That had me cracking up. I'll remember it, too.

KimberlyS. "You could after some time say something to him like you want to talk more about his CDing when he is ready to talk about it. That way he knows you are ready to talk more about it and not running away scared." Perfect... and exactly what I will do. I want to ask if he's tried on the fishnets I gave him. Heck, I want to SEE her in those fishnets! But, I shall bide my time and do as you suggest. No trampling the garden in my eagerness to smell the flowers. And, regardless of how that sounded, I did not mean that dirty. :P

Again, thank you all for your warm welcome.

Hi Mariko,
Welcome to the forums. It's nice to hear that you are comfortable with this aspect of your boyfriend.

A word of caution and personal opinion. Crossdressing covers a great deal of territory and we are not all the same. I'm not even sure that the same word should be applied to all the different variations we have. Men like to wear womens clothing for a variety of reasons. For some it is mostly sexual. For some it is about gender. For some it's about a lot of other things. For myself I am still figuring it out. But anyway just because someone here on the forum says it means a certain thing to them, don't think that your boyfriend neccesarily feels the same way.

Looking forward to hearing more from you
