I think Paulettes post sums the whole situation up nicely. Obviously there are exceptions to every rule but with her psychology knowledge and vast experience, what she says makes complete sense to me.
I hope Bridget you have learned from this experience but as we all know things are not just black and white. Hope your situation continues in the positive way you have presented it.
