16, I was 14 when I was caught by my mother and have been out ever since.
16, I can relate to that as it was my 16th Birthday I received my first pair of heels and was told I was now old enough to wear heels

As long as we are remoniscing: When I was 16 I was recovering from difthiria (the last case in Indiana). I had bad toncils and had to have them removed. At 16 I was quite beautiful and the nurses had a ball kidding me that they would like to make me up to look like a girl. They didn't know that I would have liked that very much.
I know just what you are going through. Don't do like I did and hide your feelings. Today you can wear some of the girls things without being considered strange.
Some boys in my neck of the woods are openly wearing makeup and it seems to please the girls.
I do go on for an 85 YO.
