Hello :)
Hello. Im am 37 and have been curious about crossdressing since I was a teen. Dabbled here and there but this past week I downloaded one of those makeover apps on my tablet where you can give yourself new hair styles and makeup and I was shocked at how good I look all dolled up. I have decided its time to try this out for real and let my feminine side out and see what happens. Glad there are so many online resources. I have to say I am really excited about taking this step more than anything. If anyone has any good advice for beginners let me know
Hope everyone is doing well. Hugs

Re: Hello :)
Welcome, Valerie.
You say "shocked". I guess is was a good shock, but...One of the classic bits of advice is "baby steps". That is take it slow and let yourself acclimatize to what is going on.

Re: Hello :)
Welcome to the forum.
It is not often that our newcomers are new to crossdressing. This next is just my opinion: The value of this forum may include some helpful fashion and accessory tips, but greatest value is the support we provide to having to cope with people who do not accept crossdressing.
You did not say, nor will we pry, what your living situation is. Parents, siblings, coworkers, neighbors, close friends - all of these people will be affected - good or bad - when they learn what is going on. How they react will affect you - good or bad.
Hugs,
Bernice

Re: Hello :)
Hi Valerie, welcome to the group. Come visit in the chat room some time.
Anthony and Bernice have some good advice to you will benefit you to stock in. Baby steps are important as it will help to minimize the effect of the "Pink Fog", and you do have to consider the effect on those around you.
Glad you are here there.
