Hello!!

Post by Donnie »

I am a new member, and just wanted to introduce myself. I am new at this so I hope that everyone will be patient with me. I am a crossdresser and as probably a lot of crossdressers, do not have many close friends. I hope to be able to share my experiances and maybe help others who are crossdressers. I have been to a very good psycologist and was diagnosed with GID. As many of you know, this the only one they can use, but it is being contested by many as not being a disorder, and I assume this will change in the near future. Anyway, there is nothing wrong with us, and actually, we benefit from having the best of both genders in one mind.

Well, just wanted to say hi !! and hope to add something positive to this forum.

Best Regards;
Donnie

Hi Donnie,

A warm hug and a big welcome to the forum. I don't believe I have a disorder as I have been CD'ing for 57 years and its just who and what I am. I love and enjoying dressing up and being me. (--)

Hi Donnie

Welcome to our sorority

I agree with Carol Ann - what we have is a gift not a disorder. Susan has brought much to our lives that I am very glad for now.

Please join in the discussions and maybe even join us in the chat room sometime.

Best wishes
Susan

Hi Donnie,

Well as a Tennesseean myself, I have some suggestions, however not knowing exactly where you are in the Volunteer state and I understand if you don't want to share that quite yet, we may be able to give you some ideas.

Welcome and we do look forward to your participating with us!

Hi, Donnie. Welcome to the group. The issue of close friends is something that touches us all as cross dressers. Who do you let in, who do you not let in. Add romantic love to that equation and it becomes really complicated.

I think that I am a reasonable, intelligent, friendly, accommodating human being. If I were not a cross dresser, I have no doubt that I would have a wider social circle. I would be more involved in local politics. But the reality is that my reluctance to give up my own sense of self expression has limited who I can allow myself to get close to. I'm not offering a judgement on whether it's worth it or not.

But I know who I am, and my DW, Nancy seems to have come to terms with it as well, so I feel no great need to change.
I am a vessel of the Goddess. Let me express my calling to a feminine life through nurturing love and relatedness.
