Big step

Post by Julie Larreau »

Hi girls......this is a big step for me. I have been dressing for more than 40 years and have decided that I need to share this with others. I too am married. My wife knows about my 'hobby' but has chosen to ignore it: I'm sure hoping it will go away. Trust me, it won't. I am having trouble uploading pictures, says files are too big. Any advice? I would love to share my dressing with everyone. Please help??!!

Hello Julie, welcome...hopefully she will come around, it is her issue, not yours...it really is not that big a deal...maybe she could talk with some of the other wives on here for support.

Hi, Julie, and welcome to our little place on the ineternet.

I can't help you with reducing the size of the photos, but some of the photo programs have ways of reducing the size.

About posting photos, read the post by Silver Lady in http://crossdressers-haven.com/forums/v ... php?t=8360

Hi Julie hugs (--) ,
Welcome to the forum hope you enjoy all your new sisters.
Download a free software called "PIXresizer", I use it all the time to help upload photo's into the gallery.

There is a post by CJ about uploading photo's with alot of help in the "ASK US" section. Number 2 or 3 down the list on how to upload photo's.

So once again -wel-

Hi Julie

Welcome to the forum.

As regards pictures we only get 1Mb of space in total so I find it is a good idea to reduce the size of your pictures to under 100kB, then you will be able to upload more than one.

Best wishes

Hi Julie.

Welcome from another older married crossdresser.

Regarding resizing photos, I'd suggest downloading the free program Irfanview which also lets you set the memory size in k.

Best of luck,

Irfanview is an excellent suggestion. Download it from here: http://www.filehippo.com/download_irfanview/

Its only 1.33Mb in size so should be quick even on a dial up line.
