Hello...! I'm a lifelong crossdresser from Toronto who has dubbed my feminine-side Mira.
I love being a crossdresser! Not necessarily because of any particular advantages gained... actually, on a practical level it's not particularly beneficial to be a CD. But, everyone should love themselves and spend their time in life growing into themselves! When you do, you start to realize how awesome you are and how much more of your own potential as a person you can fulfill by being yourself. Mira is an integral part of who I am. So I try to take care of her.
I'm just getting to a stage where I'm starting to actually go out as Mira. GO OUT! I couldn't have imagined where I am now even 3 years ago. It has been quite a journey thus far, with a lot of small (mincing?) steps and ups and downs. I had to love myself before I could get here. And I needed to get some help from my wonderful friends in order to do that. There's still a lot more to go, and I'm excited to lap all of it up.
In addition to being a transvestite, I love to write! I maintain a blog called (Mis)adventures in Gender. Check it out, if you're so inclined! You can find the link in my signature.
Thanks for listening, and I'm looking forward to contributing.
EDIT: Website link belongs in the web button of your profile only, not in the signature block. As you have already properly utilized your web button, I've adjusted your signature accordingly.
