Hi, Every one.

As you'll see im from New Zealand down under, & as im allready known by a few here who know me ill have to watch my P;s & Q' s,

Im a 65 year old woman though different, in as much im intersexed, So did not transtion as many of those i know have, even clothes were not something i was concerned with, though i worked in the building sector i did enjoy what i did for 46 years, of cause im retired now , we have three grown up adults who have between them 9 children & we are expecting two more so by nov this year we hopefully will have 11 grand children,

Im very involved with a number of groups with a membership of over 1000 people & most are women , two women only groups & two others im incontact with,

Two of our groups we dress in times past. our Renaissance one is 1400 to 1700 & we reinact those times some 250 of us & each year spend a week to gether,

the other is 1900 - 1914 Edwardian & we spend a lot of thim going to different place's & doing lots of detail. of cause all dressed in our finery, so its really a lovely time together,
I make all my clothes so design & sew them to suit my body shape & the style .

Jos & i were married for 35 years & we had our marrage annuld so my documents could be changed to reflect being female pity they in our day 1947, did not put intersexed as it would have been correct never mind its been changed now,

Jos & i dont - for now - live together as Jos needed time away from me , because Jos has health issues & has for 39 years, that i have helped her with get through,as those issues get worse she will be looked after when the time comes & i will do that in our home.

my other interests are Photography, woodwork , wood turning & some metal work as needed,

I have been over sea's & joined in with trans & dresser's for get togethers, & have spent time with a few at different times, though im not now involved with the L G B T here in N Z because of a the distance involved, & a change in the groups formate & some have closed down,

A little about myself .
Because im intersexed it means my facial features are quite male so i dont = pass or blend in = & like i'v been told not all of us women were blessed with how a female would look , though im very well accepted as a normal woman in our socity it's not an issue plus being well known through the media, it helped in many ways for being accepted as normal as far as it applys to an intersexed woman.

I do have Dyslexca major so how i write & spell or try writeing how i would like to does not allways come over quite right. though talking to large groups of people is not a problem . Any ?'s you may have concerning myself i'll more than be happy to answer,

Hi Noeleena!

Fascinating intro, and I'm glad to see you here.

I have a few intersex friends so I am somewhat familiar with intersex issues. Most of us here are familiar with the idea of changing their "official" sex, and some have done that. I don't know of anyone who is intersexed here, but you may bring some out of the woodwork.

I'm so sorry you lost your partner of 35 years. I lost mine after 40 years because she died, never having accepted my CD. Now I'm married again to someone who does accept me, and it's wonderful, and has allowed me to come out to friends and family. I don't know if actually being intersexed rather than merely feeling intersexed would have made things easier or not. Certainly different. So I'm interested in your perspective and the changes you've experienced. My own changes and changed perspectives are scattered about this forum.

In any case, you are welcome indeed. And I hope to hear more from you.
