Hello, I'm new here!

I just started CD in the past three years after my (now ex) wife recommended it. I recall being a young kid and trying on my mom's boots and thought they were cool. Three years ago, my ex suggested i wear a skirt and put on some nails and I liked it.

I was dating a girl for two months and i knew she cared for me deeply. My ex told me that NO ONE would ever love me or accept this side of me. I knew I had to tell this girl before our relationship progressed. I told her via phone call - I said I had something to tell her, and that i had a feminine side. Her response..."so...you want to wear my clothes"? she was so causal about her response that i knew that my ex was wrong. i found someone who loved the man in me and the woman. i am not gay..i love women, but i love to show my feminine side around someone i feel comfortable with. my GF shops the second hand stores with me, has suggested various things to complete my "look". I am so lucky to have found this!

i have read various stories on other CD forums and feel bad for those who cannot be themselves around their spouses or SO. I look forward to learning and "meeting" others on this forum!

Welcome to the forum, Rachel Lynn! You are lucky to have met an understanding woman, many are not so open minded. So your ex was wrong, against the odds. Lucky you.

Rachel Lynn you are very welcome, most of us make a bit of a mistake with photos, have our knuckles rapped and reminded of the number of times we have been informed. You soon get used to it.
You have come to the right place for info and advice, I have really benefitted from joining even though it has only been just over a week.
Welcome again and enjoy your time with us
