Introducing myself

I am a 61 year old crossdresser that lives in southern Wisconsin. I began crossdressing in my teens and spent most of my adult life hiding who I am, or, more importantly, feeling ashamed and not understanding this desire. In recent years I have been able (thanks to the internet) to accept myself and become more interested in being effective in my dressing. Although I take walks at night on occasion, I have only once gone out dressed among other people (Halloween 2011) I enjoy dressing enfemme, as I am now, but I am totally heterosexual and married for many years. Aside from the pleasure of wearing heels, makeup and a dress, part of the pleasure of the experience is being in a persona that is totally opposite of my normal day to day life.

Hi Julie

to the forum. I totally agree with you, I felt the same feelings along my journey of being a crossdresser. I used to struggle with all the emotions that we endure with being feminine in todays world. Once I accepted my crossdressing and my fem side I couldn't have been happier. hope to chat sometime,

Hello Julie,

to the forum, your story is so familiar to me and I am sure many of the current members so you are definitely not alone. I am 69 and only fairly recently admitted to myself what I really wanted. The forum has been absolutely marvellous so hang in there and enjoy.
Hugs and kisses xxxx

Hi Julie, welcome to the forum

I'll be 61 next month, it's much easier "passing" once the bar's been lowered
