Hi!
After discovering my partner of only a few months was a crossdresser accidentally, it was difficult but eventually I got
him to finally talk it through with me, as I am the first person to know in over 2 decades as nobody would understand!

I have searched the web high and low for answers to so many questions and often end up horrified by the sites I end up on, either ex wives full of hate or seedy sex sites! This site is a breath of fresh air!

It's still early days for me as a SO but I really do have the best of both worlds loving boyfriend, lover, lovely girlfriend and best friend!

If any SO should read this having just found out and is confused, hurt, angry etc....remember they the same person you loved yesterday! and as a GG we are lucky and it's fully acceptable for us to go out in heels skirts etc or jeans and trainers, trousers and shirt without anyone thinking anything of it, where's the sexual equality in that?

Hello Bridget,
-wel- to the site and what a breath of fresh air your post is. My SO is aware of my situation but chooses to bury her head in the sand and ignore it. Please continue with your support and I am sure all the info you want is available on this site.
Hugs and things

Welcome to the forum, Bridget! You will find that your partner's cross-dressing has nothing to do with you. ( He would be this way alone, or with someone else. )
It also (probably) has nothing to do with sex, either. Some men just find it harmless fun to look pretty sometimes.

This is a great site for questions and answers.

Hello and -wel-, Bridget! It always makes me happy to see SOs genuinely try to understand and wholly accept their partners. Good on you!

Hi Tammy, thankyou has been a big learning curve and I have spent many hours reading through as many discussions on here as I can when work and homelife permit, looking for answers to questions I didn't even know I had!!

Never a doubt I wouldn't accept my partners cding as it's part of him and it makes him him, I love him fully in whichever persona he chooses each evening after work. In my research it seems that a lot of cds are as with my partner are very intelligent and in high powered and stressful jobs and the pattern seems to be in our case Melissa is more predominant on stressful days, has anyone else found this?

I think its quite common Bridget. I'm actually transitioning so I'm always Karin, yet when I'm stressed (or in situations that have expectations of 'him') the dressing urges ramp up to crazy levels. Sometimes it feels like I'm just adding an equal and opposite force to balance things out? The more stressed or male I'm made to feel - the more ribbons i need.
On 'normal' days I tend to not even notice what I wear (Its always femme tho)

Thanks Karin, :)
Thought it was likely to be that way! Even as a gg I have days were I want to be more girly than is my norm and im not happy with out the heels hair and makeup! just makes life seem better somehow. So makes perfect sense. Thankyou
