Another newbie to clog up the forums.

Hello All.
My name is Maria. I'm a cross dresser and have been my whole life. I had dreams of it at 6yo and started dressing at 9yo and have never stopped. I believe we are born this way and firmly believe it is a gift and something special we have that other people do not. It truly saddens me to see Sisters who are struggling to accept who they are and hope they will all find peace with it.
I'm not a trouble maker, but started out breaking the rules right away. I submitted an illegal name. Ha ha. It was maria22222 which is a title I've used for many years on different sites. I can fully understand the request to use regular names, so I ended up as Maria S. since I'm Maria Smith on Facebook. I'm sorry for not having read the rules. I often don't read the instructions I get with new gadgets either until I'm in trouble. I don't plan on having anymore problems. I've found that treating others with respect, being friendly, and acting within generally accepted social norms pretty much keeps you on the straight and narrow without having to study the rules in depth. I do plan on reading the picture rules as I love sharing, posting and viewing the pictures of others and think it's a great way to have fun together. I love dressing and like to share my joy with others through pictures. The same goes for the return thing from the rest of you. I think pictures are a great ice breaker and it's wonderful and special to see a CD who's just edging out of the closet post her first picture.
After that digression I'll get back to my spiel. I'm here for three main reasons. To learn new things. I love learning new things. Also, being almost older than dirt, I may have a few ideas of my own to share. Secondly, I'm here to make new friends. You can never have too many friends. Thirdly, and maybe most importantly, I'm here to have some good old fashioned fun with my Sisters. Learning things and discussing things and all that are great, but nothing beats having some fun. You'll hear a lot of ha ha's from me because having fun should involve lots of laughter.
I guess I've bored you enough for now. Don't relax too much because I plan on trying again later. Ha ha. I'm looking forward to meeting all of you and thanks for accepting me here.
