Hello Everyone

Post by Alora (SO) »

My name is Alora. I am actually the wife of a crossdresser. We have been married 5 years now.
He is my first husband and I am his second. Anyway, he came out to me by introducing
gender role playing through sexual intimacy. I never thought anything more of it other than that.
Over time he went further and further into it. He would buy more bras, panties, etc. It took
quite a bit for me to get accustomed to. Sometimes I still am not into it, but I deal with it as best I
can. I grew up with the basic ideal --- your body, your choice.
I think the turning point for him when he felt that I was onboard with him was when I gave him
a small purse and put in a make up collection. I started showing him how to use it with professional
brushes. He teared up.
So now, I swear he has more bras and panties and such than I do.
It is still a struggle at times. He is trying to physically become more and more of a woman
and I don't completely agree with that. We try to keep communication open as much as
possible even if we don't like what we are hearing. I'm sure many of you are in this same situation.
Hence, why we are all here...husbands, wives, boyfriends, girlfriends, etc....

I look forward to getting to know all of you..

Welcome Alora. My wife is accepting of my cross dressing and is still coming to terms with it. Married over 40 years and CDing on and off during this time. I am taking things slowly with her and each week I see more acceptance. I just have to be patient for the day that I can talk girly fashion and to shopping with her. It will eventuate in the future. If I could get her involved with the forum she would understand your story.

It has been a slow on and off again process for me as well. The best I can say is that some days
I am just not into it. But when I am I guess in that mood and he obviously wants to dress, I
never put him down or make him feel that he can't do it just because I'm not in the mood for it.
I'm even hitting Victoria Secret to get him a pair of panties and a philly steak. The best of both..

Welcome, I just joined last week myself. My gf found out about my cding a few months ago. She has been completely supportive of it because it makes me happy. I have been completely honest with her about all of it since she found out. She has said it doesn't really turn her on but she does enjoy playing with my make-up and seeing me happy. Hope you find what your looking for here, I've found it useful and enjoy reading similar stories to my own.

Hello Alora,
First of all -wel- to the forum, good to see a very understanding and supportive SO.
It sounds as if you have gone that bit further than most with your support. Take things one step at a time and I am sure you will be able to come to a mutual compromise. Most important of all is for you both to talk about it and when you feel uncomfortable be open and speak your mind. It is a situation that requires both parties to accept each others opinions and feelings.
Stick with it and use the forum to your best advantage.
Look forward to seeing more posts as you progress.
Hugs and things

Alora. Your are do nice to be part of his crossdressing. My wife is not that understanding.
I dont push it.. Just wear womans panties and leave my things in my drawer and closet. I
do go out occasionally but she wants no part of it so I know how far to go.
I suggest you set ground rules for him, or he will push and push until he goes to far
and then will regret how much he pushed you.
Thanks for being so understanding
Janet

Hi Alora, First welcome to the forum. Glad you are here.

Second thank you for trying to understand. Gender is complicated. Much more complicated than the physical attributes we are born with. It takes an open mind and a lot of compassion to come to terms with the complications.

There is a spectrum. For some, CDing is an occasional thing - I'm in that camp, I think about it a lot but am satisfied with an occasional outing. Others need much more - briefly during each day., full time, what ever.

There are infinite points on the spectrum. Keep the lines of communication open and figure our where on the spectrum you both can exist. May not be the ideal spot for either of you, but one that requires the amount of comprise that is part of any loving relationship.

Last, find for yourself your upside. What are the benefits you get for being marries to a cross dresser. There are some, but you'll probably have to think out of the box a bit to find them.

Good luck. I hope all goes well for you.

Kelly.
