Hello all,

I am new to this forum, very early in my transition. I am Pamela when I am home but have not ventured out yet. I want live and work as Pam full time and have complete SRS, but so far have not gone beyond a lot of internet research.

This looks like a nice place to be- I am looking forward to talking to many people here as I go on my journey to being Pam all the time.

How did you come by your decision to have SRS . . . especially when you "have not ventured out yet" and "have not gone beyond a lot of internet research"???

You might want to look up "Dr. Harry Benjamin" - this is the legally-accepted procedure towards obtaining SRS in the USA.

Do a google search and look at a real SRS operation, you may not like what you see and the after care you have to do.
Honey it ain't all cracked up to be what you think it is.

Pamela, You seem like you are new to this feeling. If this is not true tell us a little about how you came to this decission. Everything that you tell us will not leave this forum. It is almost like telling your doctor or your attorney. If you want to know some of the things that I am talking about, just read some of the posts on "Your Beginnings". I am 85 years old and at one time when I was just married I had some of these thoughts and yet My wonderful wife and I raised five great children who in turn raised eleven great children who all are making a difference in their own world.
If I went on you woldn't have to read what all the others have to say.

Hello and welcome Pamela. You've taken your first step by joining this site but don't let anyone push you into rushing things or telling us more about yourself than you are comfortable with. I took 50 years of crossdresssing before I joined a site and then another year to work out that I wanted to transition. Take your time and keep doing your research. Ask us if you think we can help.
