I have just recently come out to my wife after 30 years of marriage and although she was shocked she is reasonably understanding but wants no involvement. I am hoping to gain a better understanding of cross dressing through this forum.

Hi Linda and welcome. I just joined the forum a couple days ago myself. Just read your post in the how did you begin forum and will respond to that when I have a little more time. I came out to my wife in 1979 and a little later to my sister.
That led to a period where I truly embraced my cross dressing and it helped to improve my relationship with my wife. Anyway, more late Welcome to the forum and I look forward to chatting with you.

I came out to my wife of thirty years and although we are separated remain good friends, she was totally freaked out initially but now accepts things as they are.

Hi Linda, welcome. My wife started with the "OK but not in front of me" statement but now she is alright sitting down to dinner or in front of TV with Carol. She can handle me going out as Carol but not where I might bump into friends or neighbours and not with her.
