Hi my name is Tasha

Post by Tasha »

Wow well here i go, My name is tasha and i am a CD, this is the first time i have been able to admit this in a forum where other people can see. I have known this since i was about 6yrs old. I have become a expert at hidding this from the world, my family and myself, as the pain and shame that i was made to suffer when caught as a youngster. I have spent alot of years hidden as i couldnt bear being outed again in a world that i was to walk alone, but its time to break out of my self made prison. :-({|=
My first step is started, i am looking to learn and understand my hidden self. =D>
i am a 45yr old male and have been married for 26yrs i have a family a good job, just joe average. rotf
I have spent many years thinking i am alone, what a big relief to find a whole new world of people that are just like me, well maybe not as screwed up as me... LOL... So thank you guys for giving me a way to talk, learn and make new friends.
The road i am to travel will be long and no dout hard but will be made a lot easier now that i will have new friends that i can open up and ask about things as they have already travelled down that road and are stronger for it.... Tasha...

I have just looked over what i have just said... wow sorry for the sad looking message but it was straight from the hart but maybe would have been better in another area, in saying that i am a very friendly person and i am looking to make new friends who can help me become the lady i want to be..... ..OO..

Hi Tasha, -wel- to the forum, nice to have you with us. Ijoined last april of 2013, and I've chatted with a lot of really fantastic girls, also learned so much. Even if some of our journeys had a little different path, we all have soo much in common. Once I accepted myself, my fem side has been a blessing, no more guilt! Hope to chat sometime, the chatroom is a awesome place to chat and make new friends. ..o)..

Tasha,

Welcome to this great place! You will find comfort, knowledge and support here. You are definitely not alone with your feelings and desires. Get to know everyone and ask lots of questions.

From another "average Joe" who's deep in his own closet/prison.

Hi, you have come to the right place. We all need support no one can understand and provide better advice and incite than a group of people who share this life long personality trait. We are a very diverse group we are all individuals with differences but we share many things in common. Do not be afraid I have been here for a long time and before that was a member of another forum similar to this one that closed down. On this and on my previous site I found complete security to share whatever was on my mind and you will find we are really just normal people but fully acknowledge that part of who we are is most definitely oriented to the feminine side. At age 40 after struggling with all of this since about age 9? I realized that I always have been, am and always will be a transvestite but with no desire to "transition" because I am not a transsexual. I accepted that this is part of who I am. That was a major change, recently at age 57 I have finally found peace with it all and am only concerned with the practicality of incorporating this part of my personality into my life and opening the door to the right people so that I can be accepted by those who will. I have found that even if someone knows, like my older son, and accepts it - I still do not feel comfortable dressing when he is around because I suppose I am his Father and as a father or a dad I suppose I want to fill that role for him. My wife has very advanced dementia and is total care but I told her 7 years into our marriage, she accepted it after she digested that fact, my need, and found some understanding in her mind. I did dress in front of her but never felt fully comfortable, we can sense a difference between a degree of acceptance and totally open and encouraging so I did not dress all the time but knew that I could if I wanted to thank god! I have dressed in front of my wife's sitter and she is fully accepting even more so than my wife and have discussed it as well she is an amazing person. So there are people out there. We all have to find our own way. I believe we all share the desire the same complete freedom to dress openly whenever and where ever and how ever our fancy strikes us openly be that at home, in our yard, or out in the world - we want the same freedom genetic women enjoy and that is the end we are all hoping to find. Anyway, welcome - yes you are in a safe place and the right place to be for support and acceptance of who you are as a cross dresser. Anne

Hi Tasha, I'm really glad you have joined.

I kept it from myself even longer that you have. Joining the forum has been a relief. Everyone understands, maybe misses the point at times , but truly understand.

Post early and often.
