Hello Everyone

I have been reading the posts on the forum for at a while.
i am a lingerie and high heels lover. I love to underdress.
I always have purchased my clothing in drab. I know my sizes so rarely had to take something back. (I grew up in the rag trade, my father a tailor and mother a seamstress.) Shoes were always the problem. I never had the courage to approach a sales person. I hid in the aisles at Payless, trying on shoes when no one was looking.
What prompted me to join and want to become active was a recent experience I had.
I was in a western city (don't know if I should identify the city) on business. I found a wig store that also specialized in makeovers. I screwed up my courage and went there. I was very nervous and scared. I was warmly welcomed and asked how I could be helped. I stuttered that I was interested in buying stilettos. They showed me to the shoe display room. It was like entering Aladin's Cave, full of treasure. They made feel at ease, fitted me properly and sold me a pair of 5 inch stilettos that are the most comfortable shoes I ever owned. I even ordered a pair that I'll pick up on my next trip. There were several girls shopping as well who complimented me on my selections. I chatted with them and realized I had found kindred spirits.
That experience showed me it was time to come to grips with what I've always known about who I am. I love women's clothes and shoes and love wearing them. I hoping to find kindred sisters who share and understand this and who can help me on my journey.
