Hi Stephanie,
Wow. You all keep getting younger.
Please respond on the board only. PMs have been disabled on your account. Never correspond with anyone privately or via e-mail from this board with out parental consent.
This site, as it states on the homepage, is not intended for minors.
Because you are under age I am going to lock this thread until the board owners figure out how to deal with this.

Hi Stephanie,
First of all, welcome to our forum. I talked to Beauty a little while ago and we dicussed the issue of your age. This site was mainly designed for people that were 18 and up because of some of the delicate subjects on the forum. But I would rather you stay with us then some of the other sites out there because a lot of them would end up hurting you rather then helping.
Our members here are really great and we haven't had any problems yet with what the members post. This is a good clean site and we feel that you will probably benefit from it. Beauty, Shannon, and I will be monitoring your posts and the responses as a way of protecting you since you are a still a minor. Just think of us as your "forum parents".
I want you to feel free to post as much as you like. We will all be here to help you in any way we can. Feel free to PM Beauty, Shannon, or myself whenver you feel the need to talk with someone.
Sharon(SO)
Thank you!!

Thank you so much
I must that I dont mind the "forum parents" that is perfectly fine with me In fact that is a very good idea. I love this site for information that it give and not the trash that alot of other sites have. I am also okay with the idea of the the no PM or Email chat rule for me because that isnt what I am on this site for. I would like to thank you again.
Forever in your debt

Hi Stephanie,
That's GREAT news that you're ok and understand.
We're glad you're here!!!
Like Sharon said, we didn't want you going off to other sites because we think this one and a few others are helpful, but there are hard to find.
Again, it's great you understand!
:: sigh of relief ::

Welcome to this forum. I would have loved to have something like this when I was 15. Alas I did not have a PC or the net when I was 15. I barely had bbs at a friends house. That friend still does not know.

Also a big welcome Stephanie. I to wonder what it would have been in store for me if I had a PC and the web at age 15? As long as things work out, it will be good for this forum to have some young voices.

Hi Stephanie,
I think it's wonderful that today's young people have this resource. When I was in my teens, I thought I was all alone--there was no one else like me. So I really thought I was pretty sick.
It took me many years to learn otherwise.
So like I say, I think it's great that you can know, right up front, that there are many people like you--all ages, other interests, and so on.
Enjoy and grow to be the beautiful person you really can be!

Hi Stephanie,
Welcome to the forum!

Like many others here, I also wish I'd had something like this when I was your age--it would've saved me a lot of heartache...
I hope you won't be insulted if some of us start to sound like big sisters to you (we'll leave the role of parents to Shannon and Sharon

). Finding your own path and discovering your own unique voice in a world that sometimes seems uncaring is made so much easier when you know you sometimes have friendly shoulders to lean on.
Looking forward to hearing more from you.
