Whoops! should have introduced myself properly

Hello and sorry for not introducing myself properly in my previous posting. I am Tina, living in the lovely central south coast of England UK. I am 56 years old, retired from a career in the Royal Navy, married with two grown up daughters. My wife has known about my cross dressing and been 100% supportive throughout our 35 years of marriage. Three years ago I decided I was completely fed up with having to keep such a big part of my life secret, I made the decision to gradually “come out” first to my daughters, then our best friends, then other members of my family. The response from everyone has been overwhelming! I feared the worst, but got the best possible encouragement and support from everyone, that is, except for my 80 year old mother, she simply refuses to believe my cross dressing is anything more than a sort of mid life crisis thing, which I will soon be over and then I will return to being “normal” again! Bless her.

Thanks to Internet support groups such as this, the past 3 years has seen me transform from a secretive, fed up, “life is not worth living” individual, to being really happy and contented. I am now able to talk openly, and even enjoy joking about cross dressing with the people I love. One of my daughters now regularly accompanies me to my local Mayflower transvestite club monthly disco night.

Well that about sums me up. I hope my introduction is of interest to you.

Best wishes to all

Tina

Lucky you

Nice to see you here. You're in the midst of a great group of people. Wish my wife was like yours. (still in closet in most ways here).
