New from Michigan

Hello from Michigan.
I am pretty new to all this. I've just recently come 'out of the closet' although not in a gay sense, just a crossdressing sense.
I've always loved the feel of womens clothing and i guess I've decided to take it to a new level. I recently told my wife of my dressing and showed her my forms. She has never seen me dressed other than a bra, panties and occasional night gown.
So here i sit, she is out at a party (she sells adult products) and i am at home in my very own dress, the only one I own.
I have not purchased a wig but i really want to now, to make it more complete. I've read numerous posts now and can't wait to take some of the advice and ask others.
Hugs
Robyn

Hi Robyn,
Welcome and we hope you stay and participate.
You mentioned telling your wife. There is an area on the forum where you can post what her reaction was, has been, is to this "new"woman in her life.
Also if she, like other SO's has some trouble adjusting but is willing to learn about this, she is more than welcome to join the forum also and we do have a "private area" for SO's and she will be able to discuss with other gg's here, how she is feeling and accepting Robyn.
If she wishes to join make sure she tells the Admins that she is an 'SO', so that we can properly enroll her!
Thanks and we look forward to hearing more from you.

Welcome to the Forum, Robyn! Although I currently live in VA, I'm a 4th generation Michiganian. There are quite a few members from Michigan here.
It's great that you finally came out to your wife, and that she is apparently accepting of Robyn. As my CD, Virginia, has mentioned above, your wife (SO) is encouraged to join our forum, for I know that she will have many questions and may not always feel comfortable asking you.
One of our Golden Rules here is: Baby Steps, Honey, Baby Steps. You will feel a 'rush' to be en femme more often, especially now that you have told your wife. Don't rush it, don't push her - baby steps.
Again, welcome - and we look forward to your (and hopefully your wife's) participation!!

Hi Robyn--
Welcome to the forum, and I hope you're able to get that wig soon. It is something I didn't fully appreciate in the beginning.
I'm glad your wife knows, but do keep her up to speed with the changes you go through.

Thank you so much for the reply. You mentioned posting my wife's reaction to my telling her of my dressing. Is this a post I should make here? or is there another forum area I should post to?
I would love my wife to join and maybe someday she will. I guess i have to visit here a bit before I am comfortable with asking her to join. In the end I would love it. Right now I feel great knowing there are others I can correspond with and ask questions.
Another post mentioned 'baby steps'. I don't understand if this means waiting on buying a wig and shoes or not. I work out of a office in my house and never have customers come here. I already dress up and wish to complete the look with a wig and maybe someday some makeup.
